I am a Doctorate of Applied Mathematics graduate with a keen interest in mathematical medicine, and I am excited to apply for the adjunct opportunity at your organization.

Currently, I am serving as a Research Coordinator at the University of Sunnybank’s Office of Mathematical Medicine and Biology, focusing on mathematical modeling of lung cancer treatments and treatment sequencing. Prior to this role, I held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics, where my responsibilities included instructional duties, grading assignments and exams, overseeing labs, and conducting office hours.

I have also contributed to research efforts, specifically assisting with the writing of "Chapter 2: Mathematical Modeling and Lung Cancer" in Erick Miska’s book on improving combination targeted and cytotoxic therapy for small cell lung cancer.

With 6 years of experience in research and teaching, along with a recent doctorate, Master of Applied Mathematics and Physics, and Bachelor of Education in Mathematics, I am confident in my abilities to deliver high-quality instruction to students.

I have greatly appreciated the opportunities for research and teaching at the University of Sunnybank, and I am now eager to take on a new role as an adjunct to continue shaping the next generation of mathematical medicine experts.
