With 6 years of experience as an Art Teacher at the high school level and 5 years of professional experience as an Artist and Art Program Coordinator, I am excited to apply for this opportunity.

Currently, I am the Art Teacher at Findlater High School in Colorado, where I instruct Grades 8, 9, and 10. I am dedicated to introducing students to various art media, such as painting, drawing, ceramics, printmaking, and sculpture, in a way that sparks their love for art. I recently incorporated digital media into my curriculum, demonstrating my ability to engage with students who are technologically inclined.

Art is not only my profession but also my passion. Prior to teaching, I showcased my paintings at the Swan Gallery in Colorado and led popular art classes and workshops for children. I hold an MFA in Fine Art and a Bachelor of Education, which have equipped me with the skills needed to effectively plan courses, evaluate student outcomes, and teach students of all ages and abilities.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Findlater High School, but I am seeking a new role in an in-person setting as the school transitions to online learning. I am eager to work with an institution that values innovation in education, such as yours.
