With 6 years of experience in NICUs, I am currently employed at Sunnybank Hospital, where I support the developmental needs of hospitalized children. My role involves reducing anxiety and trauma associated with illness and hospitalization for patients aged 0-21 through various interventions.

In addition to providing direct support to children, I also educate staff and the community on the developmental needs of hospitalized children and advocate for their individual psychosocial, emotional, physical, and cognitive needs. I hold a Bachelor of Child Development and am a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) through The Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP).
