This is Rendy, a passionate Egyptian Electrical Engineer who has been working as a Solar PV Project Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the last 4 years.
I would like to pursue my ultimate passion towards renewable energy and hopefully join a dedicated Solar PV company as Solar PV Engineer with a technical, sales or business development role operating in the MENA region. Technically, I believe I'm able to perform the technical work of solar PV systems for different applications such as residential, commercial and utility scale projects either on-grid or off-grid. Technical work ranges from site & quantity surveys, concept and detailed system design, software simulation, preparing technical proposals, procurement and sourcing of system components, on-site installation and commissioning of the PV modules and related DC/AC wiring. Further to technical training for engineers and technicians.
In addition, Commercially, able to professionally perform cost and profit analysis, customizing solutions based on client target prices/budget, contribute in developing funding proposals for a specific project from funding parties, review contract/PO terms and prepare cost comparison sheets for different suppliers/vendors (procurement), reviewing project progress and following-up payment certificates.
Finally, leadership and mentoring: As a Senior Project Engineer, I have been mentoring and managing a team of engineers and technicians to encourage them deliver the most healthy designs and quality installations for the past 4 years.
My solar industry market knowledge is powered by an extensive sales network of relations with decision makers over Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Bahrain, Egypt, Africa and Germany. Both of my design and installation experiences are based on the latest international solar PV-related standards and code of designs.
And in terms of language, possess excellent English (IELTS Academic 7.0) and intermediate German (A1).
